We are looking for an Area Sales Manager for Colorado, ideally based in Denver, to manage existing accounts, acquire new customers, and serve as a trusted consultant. The role focuses on helping clients successfully buy and sell equipment through bidadoo’s innovative platform and comprehensive suite of services, building long‑term relationships and growing revenue in your territories.

About the Role

As an Area Sales Manager you will work with a broad range of construction and industrial equipment, selling our auction, remarketing, eCommerce and other services. You will collaborate with companies in various equipment‑related industries—including manufacturing, finance, sales and rental, construction, mining, agriculture, transportation, utilities, and government—to aggressively source new business opportunities for our weekly auctions and marketplace.

Responsibilities
  • Create and execute a strategic plan for your territory to drive growth and profitability.
  • Develop extensive knowledge of new and used equipment products in construction, rental, transportation, agriculture, and material handling.
  • Establish relationships with key decision makers and influencers in your area of responsibility.
  • Generate leads for buyers and sellers, filling the pipeline for weekly auctions, marketplace, and other sales channels.
  • Consult with customers on valuation and sales estimates of machinery and equipment.
  • Drive revenue through fees associated with professional auction, remarketing, and consignment services.
  • Deliver superior proposals and presentations that demonstrate business value to customers and prospects.
  • Build buyer and seller value via auction‑day contact campaigns to drive buyer activities and strengthen relationships.
  • Use CRM tools and resources to document and communicate with all stakeholders.
  • Own and manage end‑to‑end customer transactions, building a solid portfolio of repeat business.
  • Provide exceptional customer experience aligned with bidadoo values and brand promise.
  • Demonstrate bidadoo pride in everything you do.
Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of proven sales experience, including outside/field sales with a track record of revenue attainment through proactive lead generation and consultative selling.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong business presentation skills.
  • Basic computer skills and application proficiency.
  • Background in new and used equipment sales, equipment rental, business valuation and appraisal consulting, or equipment auctions is helpful.
  • Familiarity and experience with internet technologies and sales tools are desired.
Pay Range and Compensation Package

Base salary, commission program, company vehicle, medical benefits, 401(k), and paid vacation.
