Senior Account Manager

Position Overview: The senior account manager will be responsible for developing the Western U.S. sales territory that will generate sales in home appliance categories as well as RAC, floor care, compacts & small appliances. This role will manage and expand the home appliance assortment of products including Refrigerator, Washer, Dryer, Dishwasher, Range, and Microwave. The account manager will articulate customer needs, identify new business opportunities, manage the annual program to drive profitable growth, and build a winning joint business plan with customers.

As the customer expert for the company, the individual will foster customer relationships and effectively collaborate across Midea’s cross‑functional teams.

  • Develop, own, and lead the business plan for the home appliance product categories in the Western U.S.
  • Execute annual programs for home appliance products by working in close collaboration with the product management team.
  • Monitor overall account performance, identify opportunities and challenges, and develop appropriate action plans.
  • Proactively lead problem‑solving efforts via logical and persuasive communications while pursuing “win‑win” solutions.
  • Collaborate with various Midea cross‑functional teams, including product management, marketing, manufacturing, supply chain, operations, finance, and service, to meet account performance objectives and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Achieve assigned KPIs for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives with signed accounts.
  • Closely collaborate with customers and Midea operations/supply‑management departments to provide accurate sales forecasting.
  • Facilitate ‘voice of the customer’ to ensure customer needs are being met by all internal stakeholders.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years of strategic sales experience managing high‑profile major accounts within the home appliance, durable products, or consumer products industries.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Home appliance category experience highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success developing and growing sales within large regional accounts.
