Regional Sales Director, Software
Dynatrace is seeking a highly experienced Regional Sales Director to lead software sales in a specific territory.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and coach the sales team, providing ongoing feedback and best practices.
- Build a sustainable product sales pipeline to meet forecasted revenue targets.
- Monitor competitor products and industry needs, offering strategic insights.
- Implement pipeline and forecast cadence using Clari and Salesforce.
- Conceivably create go‑to‑market (GTM) plans for the assigned territories.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional leaders in Marketing, Pre‑Sales, Partner Sales, Account Executives, Regional Directors, and Customer Success (this position might be filled at a higher level based on candidate experience).
- HS diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience closing large enterprise software sales.
- Several years of enterprise technology sales management experience.
- Comfortable building and mentoring a team of successful sales hunters.
- Experience with the full sales cycle – prospecting, qualification, verbal presentation, and closing using a repeatable process.
- Proven experience generating sales revenue through new logo wins.
- Methodical, action‑oriented, results‑oriented.
- Proficient in MEDDIC methodology.
- Extensive consultative selling methodologies such as Challenger Sales, MEDDIC.
- Consistent track record of closing business opportunities that meet or exceed quotas.
- Confidence in attaining revenue and performance goals.

- Salary range: $166,000–$207,000, based on experience, skills, education, and location.
