Business Development Mgr - Dealer – Konica Minolta Business Solutions Canada

Overview

Konica Minolta is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to partner with dealers in the major account market segment. The role involves guiding dealers in identifying target accounts, developing and deploying account strategies, and providing full support for alliance contract management, including pricing, terms, and profitability.

Responsibilities
  • Meeting and growing revenue goals for assigned accounts.
  • Planning sales and business development opportunities, including supporting local sales and service teams.
  • Budgeting for related functions.
  • Negotiating and maintaining sales or service contracts.
  • Mastering the consultative selling process to penetrate accounts and exceed regional sales and productivity goals.
  • Successfully implementing and completing structured selling processes in each assigned dealership.
  • Submitting all contact reports, forecasts, itineraries, and expense reports to the sales management team in a timely manner.
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships within appropriate departments to ensure maximum effectiveness.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ sales experience.
  • Ability to understand documentation requirements and detailed financial reports.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Self‑managed with the ability to work independently.
  • Effective training and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional sales and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
