Overview
Position Summary:
What you’ll do includes providing member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member needs, guiding and supporting members regarding self-service technology, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving member issues, and promoting the company’s products and services. You may assist management with supervising associates in the assigned area by assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback, training associates on processes and procedures, providing direction on member service approaches, and ensuring resolution of member complaints in line with company guidelines.
You may also participate in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching, and evaluating associates.
Additional duties include receiving and stocking supplies and merchandise from distribution centers and vendors, maintaining the sales floor, organizing and merchandising, completing required documentation, and ensuring safety and policy compliance throughout the facility.
Responsibilities also cover maintaining merchandise presentation, handling claims and returns, zoning the area, stocking and organizing products, setting up displays, pricing, identifying shrink and damages, and ensuring product quality and sanitation standards across all departments. You may oversee club pick-up order processing, develop and implement processes to meet business needs, and model ethical and compliant behavior aligned with company standards.

Responsibilities- Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, and guiding them on self-service technology.
- Assist members with purchasing decisions, locate merchandise, resolve issues, and promote products and services.
- Assist management with supervising associates: assign duties, communicate goals/feedback, train on processes, and guide member service approaches.
- Ensure member complaints are resolved according to company guidelines and policies; participate in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching, and evaluating associates.
- Receive and stock supplies and merchandise; organize and maintain the sales floor; complete required documentation and logs per company policies.
- Maintain facility safety and compliance by conducting safety sweeps, forklift procedures, handling hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe conditions.
- Maintain merchandise presentation, handle claims/returns, zone and stock areas, arrange displays, remove damaged goods, and price merchandise per policy.
- Identify shrink and damages; secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise; monitor product quality and sanitation; rotate stock and monitor recalls as required.
- Oversee club pick-up order picking and staging; ensure products are selected and staged per policy and procedures.
- Develop, communicate, and implement processes to meet business needs; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners; monitor progress and address improvement opportunities.
- Demonstrate and support company policies, procedures, and ethics; explain and apply guidelines; address compliance issues with Open Door Policy guidance.
- Lead and participate in teams; coordinate work, provide feedback, and model adaptability to changes or challenges.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- 6 months of retail experience AND 6 months of customer service experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading a team; supervisory experience including hiring, evaluating, mentoring, and managing workload.
