Please Note:
Excellent customer service skills are a must! Please tell us about your availability! Full-time positions are available. Availability to work evenings and weekends is a must for this position. This position could work at our Clayton Donation Center as well as our Leetsdale Store.

Donation hours at our Donation Centers are 9 am to 5 pm daily. Donation hours at our Stores are Monday through Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Sunday 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Pay: $19.29 Hr. This position is eligible for Daily Pay! Work today, get paid today! We’ve partnered with Daily Pay, a voluntary benefit to offer employees access to their pay on their own schedule. Full‑Time employees in our Retail and Sales/Operations Divisions are eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, Short Term Disability, Life/Accidental Death and Dismemberment, Flexible Spending Accounts, Long Term Disability, and several voluntary supplemental benefit offerings.

JOB

SUMMARY

The Associate I, Donation Services is typically the first point of contact for customers that are dropping off items at retail centers and/or stand‑alone donation centers (ADC). The Donation Services Associates will provide excellent and friendly customer service by greeting customers’ timely and helping as needed that may include lifting or unloading donations from a customer’s vehicle or other area. Associates are expected to handle goods with care, showing respect for items donated.

ESSENTIAL

FUNCTIONS
  • Provides excellent customer service, greeting customers in a timely manner, answering product questions as needed.
  • Assists every customer by unloading donations from vehicle or other area(s).
  • Ensures that donated items are handled with care and sorted into appropriate bins or production areas.
  • Inspect all donations within assigned areas and make decisions on quality to sort appropriately for the sales floor or to be shipped to other locations.
  • Ensures a safe, organized, and clean environment is maintained for both customers and fellow employees within the donations entrance and parking lot areas.
  • Maintains remote donation centers shed and trailer, following appropriate opening and closing procedures when working at a remote site.
  • Ensures supplies are kept well stocked at remote site(s) as necessary.
  • Tracks and reports donation levels daily to ensure trailers do not become over stacked when working in remote donation center locations.
  • Timely communication when donation warehouse and/or trailer(s) are becoming full and a truck is needed.
  • Follows all retail center/donation center policies and procedures.
  • Assists drivers in loading and unloading donations onto the truck when necessary.
  • Follows all safety processes and procedures to help provide a safe working environment for employees and customers.
  • Crosstrap in other departments or areas; act as a back‑up for other areas as required.
  • May be required to report to the store ADC or stand‑alone center when necessary.
  • Job duties may extend beyond the tasks listed and may include additional responsibilities as required.
