Create an outstanding customer experience by bagging groceries, maintaining store cleanliness, and demonstrating Kroger’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

• Bag groceries at checkout, aiming for at least five items per bag while ensuring items are not damaged.
• Bag items using best practices for reusable, plastic, and paper bags.
• Assist customers by removing merchandise from the bottom of bascarts and offering help loading bags into their cars.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and return items to shelves as needed.
• Inform customers of grocery specials.
• Collect and pick up trash, clean spills, and keep all areas inside and outside the store clean.
• Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
• Locate products and conduct price checks for cashiers as required.
• Reinforce safety programs by complying with procedures and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Inspect equipment and report necessary repairs to the appropriate department or store manager.
• Answer product questions and create a welcoming environment for customers.
• Follow all local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines.
• Work cooperatively in a fast‑paced, sometimes stressful environment.
• Manage conflict in a nonconfrontational, cooperative manner.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues.
• Provide support and assistance to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
