Responsibilities- Maintain facility and sales floor safety and standards by conducting safety sweeps, adhering to forklift and hazardous material handling requirements, and promptly reporting unsafe situations.
- Keep the Tire and Battery Center (TBC) sales floor organized, stocked, zoned, and merchandised in accordance with company policies.
- Stock, set up, clean, and organize product displays; remove damaged goods; sign and price merchandise; and secure fragile and high‑shrink items.
- Monitor tire and battery orders daily, assist members with installation appointments, communicate lead time changes or cancellations, and provide alternatives.
- Provide expert member service: greet members, identify needs, assist with purchasing and service decisions, and resolve concerns using Sam’s Garage and product knowledge.
- Drive sales and service excellence by communicating the value of merchandise and services and collaborating with club associates to promote TBC offerings.
- Triage and prioritize service workflow in TBC service bays, refer to Sam’s Garage for waiting members, and maximize service efficiency.
- Demonstrate knowledge of safety, compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, and equipment operations.
- Leverage digital tools and handheld devices to plan sales, improve the service experience, and make real‑time business decisions.
- Serve as a brand advocate by modeling high‑quality service, supporting team development, and addressing roadblocks.
- Operate TBC equipment safely, process purchases, handle payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges, and maintain documentation.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity standards.
- Use data, policies, and resources to prioritize tasks, communicate progress, recommend improvements, and adapt to change.

Additional CompensationHourly wage may be equal to or exceed the minimum wage at the job location. Premiums may range from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
Minimum QualificationsValid state‑issued driver’s license.
18 years of age or older.
Preferred QualificationsAuto service industry, retail experience.
