Colorado School of Mines is seeking a Post-Doctoral Fellow to join a collaborative research effort with the National Laboratory of the Rockies
, advancing next‑generation organic solar cell durability, reliability, and lifetime performance

- Developing packaging strategies to extend OPV cell/module lifetimes
- Designing and executing accelerated stress + reliability tests
- Performing post‑mortem and root‑cause failure analysis
- Using advanced characterization tools (HPLC, NMR, SEM, XPS, XRD)
- Conducting EQE and IV measurements
- Collaborating across disciplines and contributing to publications + conference presentations
- Supporting a strong EHS culture in the lab
- PhD in Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, or related field
- Hands‑on experience with organic photovoltaics
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with OPV mini‑modules or large‑area devices
- Solution and vapor‑phase deposition experience
- Reliability testing + failure analysis background
- Familiarity with analytical chemistry and materials characterization
$65,000–$73,000 Plus a robust benefits package, including:
