This position supports quality assurance and compliance efforts for a large-scale airport baggage handling system project. The role involves field inspections, quality reporting, and coordination with engineering, construction, and operations teams. The specialist will verify construction work against permit drawings, approved submittals, RFIs, and regulatory requirements, documenting compliance and deficiencies through formal quality reports. The role requires independent field execution, disciplined documentation, and technical judgment in an active industrial environment.

• Monitor conveyor assembly, electrical controls, and system interfaces.
• Track corrective actions through follow-up inspections.
• Collaborate with engineering, construction, and operations teams to support inspections, mock‑ups, and system walk‑throughs.
• Verify that structural assemblies, conveyors, catwalks, platforms, step‑overs, and connections match permit drawings and approved submittals.
• Align with RFIs and Certificates of Compliance/Shop Inspections.
• Cross‑check and record all conveyor assembly components received on site.
• Attend day‑shift inspections and prepare Quality Reports in ACC.
• Prepare Quality Reports for night‑shift inspections.
• Participate in quality follow‑up walks with airport QA inspectors.
• Attend inspections with airport operations/logistics teams and prepare special reports.
• Track and document progress on open electrical and mechanical issues.
• Support mock‑up documentation for conveyor system electrical and control device installations.
• Perform additional quality‑related tasks as required.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in quality assurance or related field.
• Engineering background, preferably in electrical, mechanical, or structural engineering.
• Experience in industrial plants, manufacturing environments, or airport/conveyance systems.
• Quality Auditing and Quality Control experience.
• Strong understanding of Quality Assurance processes, Quality Management principles, and regulatory requirements, especially for electrical and baggage handling systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field preferred.
• Relevant certifications are a plus.
• Bilingual skills are a strong plus.

The work environment is a small, relaxed office setting with a high level of independence and autonomy. There are strong tenure and annual salary growth opportunities. The role involves shadowing field activities across systems, supporting quality assessments across multiple trades, and coordinating with additional quality control personnel. The schedule is typically 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with four days on‑site and Fridays remote, although occasional on‑site work on Fridays may be required.

There is daily schedule flexibility, and project duration is expected through 2028 with a minimum commitment of 2 years. The workplace includes on‑site access with golf cart usage and parking availability in an extensive baggage processing environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Denver, CO.

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
