Your Impact

As an Analyst, Fixed Plant, you will help improve asset reliability and plant performance by analyzing operational data, identifying issues, and ensuring corrective actions are taken. Your work supports safe, efficient operations and strengthens data-driven decision-making across sites.

As Part of Our Team, You Will
  • Monitor and analyze plant performance data to identify anomalies and reliability risks.
  • Prepare and send notifications to site teams with clear recommended actions.
  • Track corrective actions to ensure timely and effective resolution.
  • Perform trend analysis across similar assets and provide insights to the reliability team.
  • Prepare and deliver reports on plant health, trends, and action progress.
  • Collaborate with site teams to ensure understanding of issues and actions required.
  • Identify opportunities to improve analysis processes and communication workflows.
  • Work with IT/OT teams to improve data collection and analysis systems.
  • Provide support and training to site teams on data tools and plant health indicators.
Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role
  • Degree or diploma in Engineering, Data Analytics, Reliability, or a related field.
  • Experience analyzing operational or performance data in an industrial environment.
  • Strong skills in identifying trends, recognizing anomalies, and evaluating asset performance.
  • Ability to translate data into clear insights and recommended actions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.
  • High attention to detail, willingness to follow procedures, ask questions, and continuously improve.
  • Ability to work independently and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Experience with IT/OT systems or plant monitoring tools is an asset.

  • Role may be based near a Newmont corporate, regional, or site location.
  • Mix of office-based analysis, virtual collaboration, and coordination with global site teams.
  • Interaction with Reliability, Maintenance, IT/OT, and site operations.
  • Travel may be required depending on business needs.

The salary range offered for this role is USD $86,. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.

This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
