Job Overview
We are seeking a full-time Senior Veterinary Technician or RVT at Overland Animal Hospital to join our team. This technician would ideally have some leadership experience, attention to detail, and be ready to hit the ground running skill-wise. For example, being familiar with running anesthesia and surgery protocols, providing animal care before and after surgery, and well versed in running exam rooms.
Our team is fun-loving, efficient, and reliable, and we hope to add someone similar!
- Assisting veterinarians with diagnostic procedures, client communication, patient care, and coordination of care with other staff members.
- Tracking animal recovery as needed.
- Managing appointments, medication refills, client communication, and other necessary tasks.
- Managing colleagues, inventory, scheduling, etc.
- At least 1-2 years in a veterinary surgical environment.
- Leadership experience and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with anesthesia and surgery protocols, animal care before and after surgery, and exam room management.
- Base hourly rate of $25 - $28 DOE.

The base hourly range for this position is $25-28/hr our pay ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position is also eligible for a periodic bonus.
