To work as a CNA in a Colorado SNF, you must have:
- Active Colorado CNA certification
- Be listed in good standing on the Colorado Nurse Aide Registry
- Experience in (or willingness to learn)
skilled nursing care - A strong back, a stronger heart, and at least some caffeine tolerance
- A strong, supportive culture (not just words on a poster)
- An incredible NHA who respects nursing and support staff
- Nurses who know CNAs are essential — not optional
- Leadership that backs you up
- Coworkers who laugh with you when things get wild
