Intermountain Health seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Cardiology team at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, providing inpatient and outpatient cardiology care including rounding on general and interventional patients, pre-procedure CATH workups, device/drain removals, and outpatient follow-ups. The role is full-time (4 ten-hour weekday shifts), no call/no weekends, and requires NP/PA licensure, DEA/prescriptive authority, BLS/ACLS, and at least one year of cardiology experience.

About this role:
Intermountain Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our Cardiology Clinic at Saint Joseph Hospital. The selected candidate will work with 4 other APPs who partner with 8 general cardiologists and interventional cardiologists, including one specialist in vascular medicine to help deliver exceptional care to cardiology patients in both and inpatient and outpatient setting. Our practice also includes physicians and APPs specializing in heart failure, electrophysiology, and structural heart, working collaboratively.
- You would practice at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado
- You would work 4 ten hour shifts during the weekdays outpatient and inpatient, no call/no weekends
- Rounding on general and interventional cardiology patients at Saint Joseph Hospital
- Includes pre procedure work ups for CATH cases
- Remove pericardial drains, temporary pacemakers when needed
- When rounding is complete, handle follow ups in the clinic and supervise outpatient treadmill
- Manageable volume with the opportunity to work with complex cardiology and vascular patients

What you'll bring:

- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program, required
- Valid license/certification as Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Colorado or able to obtain, required
- DEA and prescriptive authority, required
- BLS and ACLS, required
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience working as an NP or PA in a cardiology setting, required

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
