Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) Travel Position

Pay : $1,893.60 / week (plus $2,200 completion bonus per contract, up to $6,600 after three contracts)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) to join a healthcare facility in Denver, CO on a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will provide perioperative care for patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. The ideal candidate is proficient in circulating and / or scrub roles, detail-oriented, and committed to ensuring a safe and sterile environment for surgical patients.

• Provide pre-, intra-, and post-operative nursing care to surgical patients.
• Prepare operating rooms by ensuring equipment, instruments, and supplies are available and sterile.
• Circulate during surgeries by assisting the surgical team and maintaining a sterile environment.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs, responses to anesthesia, and overall status during procedures.
• Administer prescribed medications, IV fluids, and assist with surgical site preparation.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure seamless care.
• Document all assessments, interventions, and surgical outcomes accurately in the medical record.
• Adhere to infection control standards, safety protocols, and evidence-based perioperative practices.

• Current and valid RN license in Colorado (or compact eligibility).
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent OR nursing experience in an acute care setting.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); ACLS and CNOR preferred.
• Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques, surgical procedures, and perioperative nursing standards.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
• Compassionate and adaptable approach to patient care.
• COVID-19 vaccine and recent tuberculosis test.
