Facility Type:
Short Tern Acute Care Hospital
Telemetry RNs monitor patients’ vital signs by reading and analyzing an electrocardiogram, or another life sign-measuring device. Tele RN’s are required for post-ICU care. Tele RN’s monitor critically ill patients: most are cardiac cases. Tele RN’s typically work in a hospital setting. Tele RN’s care for patients who are out of the ICU, but need their vital signs monitored closely (after surgery, for example).
Responsibilities- Monitor patients’ vital signs via electrocardiogram or other life-sign monitoring devices; provide continued monitoring for post-ICU patients and those outside the ICU as needed.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- You must earn an ADN or BSN degree and pass the NCLEX
- RNs can only work with an active state license
- ACLS and TELE required
- Per Diem Shifts Available;
