Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) as a PRN (as needed) provider. The role requires delivering high‑quality care to premature and ill newborns, ensuring a holistic approach to their health and well‑being.
Hourly Wage Estimate
$36.50 - $55.25 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver age‑appropriate patient care based on physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety, and learning needs.
- Optimize the quality of life for all patients by expanding beyond traditional medical needs.
- Provide nursing care for premature and ill newborn patients in the NICU.
- Oversee and direct assistive personnel, maintaining final accountability for patient care.
- Act as the primary nurse, leading interdisciplinary collaboration for well‑coordinated patient care.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado or an active multistate RN license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Certification in STABLE (Short Term Acute Care for the Born Adult).
- 1 to 2 years of acute care specialty nursing experience.
