Bonus

$3,000 LVN Sign‑On Bonus$1,500 at 30 days and $1,500 at 90 days

Shift Schedule
  • 12‑Hour Shifts
    Day

    Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
    Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
  • 8‑Hour Shifts
    Day

    Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Full‑Time, 5 days a week)
    Evening Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (Full‑Time, 5 days a week)
  • Other Shift Options
    16‑Hour Baylor LPN:
    Weekends, 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM (Paid for full‑time)
  • Shift Differential
    Earn an additional $2.00 /hour for shifts between 3:00 PM and 7:00 AM

In This Role, the Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse Will
  • Assist routine daily direction and monitor the work of nursing assistants, ensuring high standards of nursing care.
  • Assist in the orientation of new LPNs/LVNs and nursing assistants and reinforce training standards.
  • Provide explanations of nursing procedures and assistance to staff to ensure ongoing understanding and training.
  • Communicate regularly with the Nurse Manager or Director of Nursing regarding observations, suggestions of problem areas, resident and employee activities, concerns, needs, and conditions.
  • Observe and evaluate residents’ health, mental, and emotional conditions and communicate significant changes to appropriate staff.
  • Provide direct patient care as appropriate, including procedures such as catheter placement and care, colostomy care, suction, dressings, nasogastric tubes, and other treatments.
  • Participate in report at the beginning and end of shifts to assure proper information about residents is communicated.
  • Assist in the admission, orientation, and observation of new residents, ensuring physician orders for diets, therapy, medication, etc. are transcribed and communicated according to procedure.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • Graduated from an approved school of licensed practical/vocational nursing.
  • Current license, in good standing, as an LPN/LVN in the State.
  • One year nursing experience.
  • Devotion to standards and principles of professional nursing.
Compensation

Pay range: $31.88 – $47.79 per hour.
