Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a high-risk Labor and Delivery position on night shifts, requiring a CO or compact RN license and advanced perinatal certifications.
Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Labor and Delivery unit with a high-risk patient population

• Care for patients from 14 weeks pregnant through 6 weeks postpartum

• Includes triage, high-risk antepartum, circulating in 3 ORs, and performing PACU recoveries

• Level 3 NICU on site

• Nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1:2

• Night shift position with three 12-hour shifts per week (19:00-07:30)

• Epic EMR is used and Epic experience is required

• Floating may be required based on clinical experience

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

• Must complete modules online prior to start; average time is 4 hours

• Candidates must pass a comprehensive drug screen, including a THC/marijuana panel, prior to start

• Pre-employment labs must be completed within 72 hours of signing

• No more than 5 days of time off requested per 13-week contract is preferred

• Dress code and scrub color details will be provided during onboarding

• Onsite parking available for a monthly fee
Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required

• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience

• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate (all AHA only)

• Epic EMR experience required

• Must be willing to work night shifts
