About this role: As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Bariatric Surgery, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will add specifics here: (Add more info on position here - inpatient/outpatient, how many patients per day, what type of cases, how many beds in unit, etc.)
- This position includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus and up to $7,500 in relocation assistance
- You will practice at the Denver Midtown Weight Loss Clinic and have privileges at Saint Joseph Hospital , is a 365-bed facility and one of the top-ranked hospitals in Denver, CO
- Your hours will be Monday through Friday, no call, no weekends
- You will see approximately 13-14 patients per day for H&Ps, follow ups, and assisting with new consults, follow-up management and elevate to surgeon as appropriate
- Triage incoming referrals to include pre-charting and discern with provider the patient should see and timing of appointment
- You will have first assist opportunities in the OR 2 times per week
What you'll bring:
- APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program
- Board certification or eligibility in the designated discipline
- Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one
- Unrestricted PA license in the state of Colorado or able to obtain
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a PA in a bariatric and/or surgical setting.
Please no new grads. - Minimum of 1 year of first assist experience
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
