The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide some administrative duties under the direction of the Director of Nursing. This role will prepare daily unit staffing schedules and assist the director of nursing in monitoring attendance, licensure, certification, and position control. Provides resident care and perform activities related to medications and treatments in accordance with facility policies and procedures. Maintains effective communication with residents, families, staff, and physicians.

Functions in a call and positive manner in an emergency or crisis situation. Documents in accordance with nursing policies and procedures. Responds to resident needs with appropriate interventions with the licensure of an LPN.

• Current license for Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Colorado.
