We are currently hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) and would love to meet with you. Please review the job opportunity and reach out to our recruiter with any questions or for next steps.
Responsibilities: The Licensed Practical Nurse/Vocational Nurse is responsible for providing appropriate nursing care, as directed by an lowered RN on the unit. Duties include gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, performing therapeutic procedures on patients in an age- and population-appropriate manner, consistent with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state where the hospital resides.
- Current BLS certification required.
- One year of inpatient medical‑surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
- Preferred experience in emergency or critical care environments.
- Preferred higher comfort level working with ventilators/tracheostomy/PICC lines.
- Preferred two years of direct patient care experience.
