Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Oncology – Colorado

Start Date: January 26, 2026
Location: Denver, Colorado
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 12-hour shifts on a blood cancer unit with 18 beds

Highlights:

• Work on an award-winning unit recognized for excellence in quality measures, evidence-based practice, and patient outcomes
• Patient ratio of 3-4:1 with a primary nursing model emphasizing RN-driven interventions
• Specialized oncology experience with hematology patients, including lumbar punctures, bone marrow biopsies, and thoracentesis procedures
• EMR:
  Meditech;
  Equipment includes telemetry, bladder scanners, Alaris pumps and PCA systems
• Collaborative team environment with experienced, dedicated oncology nursing staff
• Opportunity to work with complex patient populations requiring extensive medication administration, blood products, and electrolyte replacement therapy

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Colorado or compact state eligibility
• Compassionate approach to oncology patient care and chronically ill populations
• Quick learner able to adapt to acute hematology patients and standing orders protocols
• Preferred:
  Chemo and biotherapy certification
• Preferred:
  Step-down or progressive care experience
• Travel nursing experience strongly preferred
