Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an LTAC Med/Surg night shift position in Denver requiring a CO or compact RN license and 2 years of recent specialty experience.
Responsibilities- Work in a Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) Med/Surg unit
- Night shifts from 18:00 to 06:30
- Unit specializes in chronic care for medically complex patients
- 13-week contract assignment
- Must float within a 25-mile radius if required
- Provide nursing care to chronic, medically complex patients in a hospital-based LTAC unit
- Staff are required to clock in and out using the electronic timekeeping system
- No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility for travel assignment eligibility
- Holiday coverage may be required as scheduled
- Active CO or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years recent Med/Surg or LTAC RN experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (RCIS and RQI certifications not accepted)
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- Full US Social Security Number required for consideration
- No current permanent employment with any location in the Health Trust system while on travel assignment
