Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric Step Down night shift position in Colorado requiring a compact or CO RN license and current PALS certification.

• Work in the Pediatric Step Down unit
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week travel contract assignment
• Patient population includes step-down level pediatric patients
• No local candidates accepted; candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
• Provide specialized nursing care for pediatric step-down patients
• Must be prepared for weekend and holiday coverage as facility needs dictate
• First-time travelers are not specified as eligible or ineligible
• Assignment requires compliance with facility orientation and training protocols

• Active CO or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent pediatric nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications from AHA or ARC required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the last 12 months
• U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• At least one professional reference required
