Director of Nursing – Senior Services

A 300-bed Level II Trauma Center has retained Nealy Pierce to recruit a permanent Director of Nursing for its Senior Services population. This award‑winning, non‑profit community hospital holds some of the highest acuity levels in the state and is guided by Magnet principles and evidence‑based practices. The director will bring a servant‑leader mindset and a passion for patient care and quality.

The Director of Nursing will oversee a 64‑bed department, including a 32‑bed memory care unit and a 32‑bed long‑term care unit. Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer, the DON will manage day‑to‑day operations, professional practice standards, employee and support staff, and departmental goals to deliver the highest quality patient care.

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
• Current RN licensure
• Coachable and eager to grow as a leader
• Excellent communication and team‑building skills
• Experience in Med/Surg, LTAC, skilled or assisted living preferred
• CMSRN or GERO‑BC certifications are a plus
