A physician-owned healthcare facility that has been providing services for over 60 years is looking for a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Competitive salary, relocation assistance, loan forgiveness, full benefits, and more are offered.
Requirements:
A Nurse Practitioner (NP) is an advanced practice registered nurse who has successfully completed a nurse practitioner program, is nationally certified, and authorized by the Board of Nursing.
The Physician Assistant (PA) must have completed an accredited graduate-level college program and acquired (or be acquiring) appropriate board certification or credentials. Both NP and PA must be able to perform advanced medical functions and certain medical acts, including but not limited to, ordering medications, treatments, and diagnostic services. ACLS certification is preferred.
Ideal candidate: Strong diagnostic skills, knowledge of RX/pharma for treatment and care of patients from newborn to adult, including some complex high-risk populations. Willing to run a Coumadin clinic 1-2 days per week. Experience in preventative medicine and nutritional knowledge of plant-based diets is a plus.
