The Director of Development is responsible for planning, organizing, and leading all fundraising efforts for Providence Network. This includes the annual fund, major gifts, planned giving, special events, grants, and capital campaigns. This role reports directly to the Executive Director and serves as a member of the Executive Management Team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Build and steward meaningful relationships with donors and supporters
- Grow and manage a major gifts program, including identification, cultivation, and solicitation
- Lead annual fund efforts, including mailings and fundraising campaigns
- Direct capital campaigns and other major fundraising initiatives
- Oversee grant research, writing, submission, and reporting
- Coordinate and execute special fundraising events
- Partner with the Executive Director on board development and engagement
- Oversee donor database systems, tracking, and reporting
- Supervise and collaborate with fundraising staff
- Represent Providence Network through public speaking and community engagement
- Minimum three years of professional fundraising experience with demonstrated success
- Strong alignment with Providence Network’s Christian mission and Statement of Faith
- Fundraising experience in the Denver metro area strongly preferred
- Proven experience with major gifts fundraising
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills
- Highly organized with strong follow-through
- Self-starter who thrives with autonomy and collaboration
- Positive, professional presence with strong listening skills
- Warm, professional manner in all interactions.
- Self-motivated, proactive, collaborative, and discreet.
- Eager relationship-builder and enthusiastic mission ambassador.
- Demonstrates spiritual maturity and models organization values.
- 40 hours per week
- Flexible schedule with significant autonomy
- $80,000–$90,000 salary range, commensurate with experience
- Opportunity for performance-based bonuses
