Job Title: Community Navigator

Job Status: Regular Full Time, Salaried

FLSA: Exempt

Reports to: Director

The Community Navigator supports the mission of Servicios de La Raza by providing operational leadership in public-facing areas and promoting access to agency services. This role exercises independent judgment in assessing community members’ needs, coordinating resources, and implementing outreach initiatives. The Community Navigator oversees front desk operations, conference room access, and building security procedures, while representing the organization at community events and cultivating strategic partnerships with external service providers.

This role is part of the Essential Services (ES) program that works to end food insecurity and build healthier, more resilient communities.

The ES program ensures that everyone—regardless of circumstance—has access to the nourishment they need to thrive. The ES program believes food is a basic human right, not a privilege. Through direct services, advocacy, and strong community partnerships, we help individuals and families meet their essential needs without having to choose between a meal and their health, housing, or safety. Be part of a team that’s creating lasting change—starting with food.
