Responsibilities- In this role, you will work 14 nights (7p-7a) 12-hour, on-call shifts per month (monthly shifts are self-scheduled, weekend requirements included).
- 12 hours on-call can turn into longer shifts – Donor Alliance covers two states – Colorado and Wyoming. We service the third-largest geographical area of all Organ Procurement Organizations.
- Collaboration is essential in this role.
Communication between multiple teams and hospital staff within tight time frames is challenging and vital to making our mission happen. You will utilize a variety of systems and phone work to communicate among the teams. This role is designed for those who have worked within a smaller scope in critical care. Training and development is provided. This role provides a pathway for clinical growth within Donor Alliance.
- Critical Thinking – Donation processes are complex and require the ability to assess and prioritize multiple factors in a challenging environment. Being solutions oriented and continuing to move the donation process forward is key.
- Education and Relationship Management – we work closely with medical teams to ensure procedures are executed smoothly and efficiently, often serving as a bridge between healthcare providers and our internal teams during intense moments.
- Critical Care – having exposure to a critical care setting is required.
- 34.01-$38.26/hour
- Non-exempt (eligible for overtime)
- Shift Differential: $3/hour, any hours worked between 7p-7a.
