SUMMARYProvides professional casework services and coordination to Emergency Assistance and victims of person-to-person crimes that occurred in Weld County in partnership with State and Federal Programs and grants.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Applies appropriate techniques and standards in program development and service delivery.
- Implements program objectives and performance standards as directed by supervisor/ management consistent with our mission and Catholic teachings.
- Follows budget as set by grant funding and management. Able to critically think when making budget funding decisions and completing mandatory reports.
- Prepares, completes and submits grant requests following all instructions carefully.
- Collaborates closely with community partners, law enforcement advocates, DA office, SAVA, and other organizations.
- Oversees the intake, assessment, intervention, and follow-up of clients making application for victim’s assistance.
- Provide case management to assist clients in the development of approaches to managing emergency and basic needs, i.e. safe shelter, food, utilities, rent, etc.
- Maintains a cordial working relationship with energy assistance providers, utility providers, and other resource providers
- Insures that program requirements and required energy assistance provider training and certifications remain up to date
- Sets appointments and meets with clients to establish eligibility, verify documentation, fill out required paperwork for clients to receive Emergency Assistance
- Helps vulnerable clients navigate resources and connect to services
- Ensures accurate and complete client records are maintained.
- Maintains accurate and timely program statistical data to meet reporting requirements.
- Enter data and generates reports.
- Track sources of funding availability commensurate with grant requirements and allocations.
- Coordinates appropriate in-house and outside referrals.
- Offer presentations to community partners that informs the agency partners of the services provided by the Victim Assistance program, Emergency Assistance Program, and the systems used to make referrals.
