Water Treatment Education Specialist

Contract Position Paying $28-$30/Hr – depending on experience. Contract Duration: 04/2026-10/2026

• Applying education principles to existing operator technical content to develop training materials that meet established need-to-know criteria.
• Deliverables include training slide decks, participant, and facilitator guides for a 9 subject/15 hours/2-day drinking water operator training course.

• Water treatment operation experience strongly preferred
• Water operator training delivery or development experience.
• Intermediate computer skills, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required
• Excellent communication skills
• Self‑directed; able to work independently and as a member of a team and to foster a positive work environment.
• Demonstrated time management skills and ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities with shifting time frames, and meet deadlines; high degree of initiative, urgency, and follow through
• Interested applicants will be asked to provide a portfolio of educational and training materials
