Hours:
M-F 6:00 a.m.
- 2:30 p.m., occasional Saturdays
- Follow Standard Operation Procedures to ensure safety and efficiency
- Offload and unload bulk chemicals, ensuring proper handling and documentation
- Transfer chemicals as required, including sampling and process monitoring
- Perform blending of batch operations according to specifications
- Complete required paperwork accurately and promptly
- Perform lockout/tagout procedures on equipment per established safety guidelines
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain compliance and quality standards
- Perform preventive maintenance and quality control checks
- Monitor and record process data as needed for process optimization
- Respond proactively and safely to any process abnormalities
- Maintain good housekeeping standards in the work environment
- Package products in various containers as needed for distribution or sale
- Manage inventory of materials, including cycle counts, SAP transactions, tank gauging, and calculations
- Participate in organizational improvement teams such as safety, quality, and productivity initiatives
- Share knowledge and mentor other team members as part of continuous improvement
- Experience with blending and batch operations
- Experience performing inspections, QC checks, and packaging products
- Ability to offload and unload bulk materials safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures and safety protocols
- Strong attention to detail for capturing process data and maintaining documentation
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections
- Basic computer skills, including SAP transactions and tank gauging calculations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in chemical or manufacturing environments is preferred
