The Expeditor II is a mid-level position, requiring prior experience and involving complex problem-solving and coordination, working with minimal supervision to manage material flow across multiple departments.
Responsibilities- Perform all duties in a safe manner and promote a “Safety First” mentality across the team.
- Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials and parts between departments according to production schedules and priorities.
- Review production schedules and work orders to determine material requirements and identify potential shortages or backlogs.
- Compile and prepare documentation related to production sequences, shipping, and material status reports.
- Act as a liaison between operations, purchasing, and warehouse departments to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
- Assist with inventory control activities, including cycle counting and reconciling discrepancies.
- Communicate with team leads, supervisors, and managers regarding material status, potential shortages, or delays.
- All duties assigned by direct lead, supervisors, or managers.
- Proficiency in using ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems (e.g., Epicor) and MS Office.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, basic drawings, and bills of material (BOMs).
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in an expeditor, material handler, or material coordinator role
- Manufacturing experience a plus

Work Environment &Physical Requirements
This position operates in an active manufacturing facility. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Use of standard office equipment as necessary, and the employee will regularly need to lift up to 50 lbs.
The pay range for this role is: 22 - 25 USD per hour (ESS Metron - Denver, CO)
