The Expeditor is a critical position important to the overall flow of material between departments, ensuring raw material and parts are delivered correctly to the appropriate shop personnel. Actual duties will depend on prior experience.

• Perform all duties in a safe manner and promotes “Safety First” mentality across team.
• Organize, stage, and deliver materials to designated production areas to prevent work stoppages.
• Move materials using material handling equipment, i.e. hand truck, pallet trucks, and forklifts (after certification).
• Verify and audit incoming production kits shipments against documentation (bills of lading, invoices) to check for accuracy and damage.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to all company safety standards.
• Perform basic data entry to record production information and material movement in company systems.
• Communicate with team leads, supervisors, and managers regarding material status, potential shortages, or delays.
• All duties assigned by direct lead, supervisors, or managers.

• Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials and parts between departments according to production schedules and priorities.
• Review production schedules and work orders to determine material requirements and identify potential shortages or backlogs.
• Compile and prepare documentation related to production sequences, shipping, and material status reports.
• Act as a liaison between operations, purchasing, and warehouse departments to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
