A vertically integrated construction and advanced manufacturing business is seeking a high-impact Plant Manager to lead the transformation of a well-established fabrication and modular solutions operation into a best-in-class lean manufacturing environment.

This is a strategic, hands‑on leadership opportunity for someone who thrives on building teams, optimizing systems, and delivering measurable operational performance.

The Opportunity

This role sits at the intersection of manufacturing excellence and project-driven production. You will lead a multidisciplinary team and implement the operational framework required to scale performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee engagement.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
  • Driving a structured Lean Manufacturing transformation across the facility
  • Implementing tools such as value stream mapping, daily management systems, visual controls, and continuous improvement frameworks
  • Establishing performance metrics tied to financial, operational, and workforce objectives
  • Building, coaching, and developing a high-performing operations leadership team
  • Overseeing plant-level financial performance, budgeting, and cost control
  • Partnering with executive leadership on manufacturing strategy and capital deployment
  • Supporting estimating, constructability reviews, and risk analysis for project pursuits
  • Identifying supply chain and workflow efficiencies that improve margin and service delivery
  • Creating a culture grounded in accountability, operational discipline, and continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
  • 12+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience
  • Proven track record implementing Lean Manufacturing with quantifiable results
  • Experience leading fabrication or production environments tied to construction, industrial, or project-based work
  • Demonstrated P&L ownership and strong financial acumen
  • Strong change management capability with hands‑on leadership style
  • Ability to translate strategy into execution on the shop floor
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or related discipline
  • Six Sigma certification is advantageous
