Summary:The Production Associate is a key member of the production team, responsible for the efficient and high-quality production of pre-rolled cannabis joints. This role involves both the mechanical aspects of joint creation and the meticulous work of packaging and labeling finished products. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and reliable individual who can work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Joint Preparation: Operate and maintain the pre-roll machine, ensuring consistent and accurate filling of joint cones. This includes prepping the raw material, operating the filling machine, and troubleshooting minor technical issues.
- Grinding: Prepare cannabis flower for filling by grinding it to the appropriate consistency. This involves following specific instructions and maintaining consistency throughout the process.
- Pre-Roll Finishing: Close and crown pre-rolled joints manually or using specialized equipment as required.
- Packaging and Labeling: Accurately package and label pre-rolled joints according to order specifications. This includes following specific labeling procedures and ensuring correct packaging for shipping.
- Quality Control: Maintain vigilance in quality control throughout the process. This includes conducting checks for quality and consistency, as well as identifying and reporting issues and problems to management.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining organized and accurate inventory of raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods. This includes keeping track of inventory levels and ensuring sufficient supplies are available to avoid any delays in production.
- Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment in accordance with all company regulations and state guidelines. This includes following all required sanitation procedures, and complying with any state and federal regulations.
- Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. This involves following all safety procedures, complying with industry standards, and maintaining a secure work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to pass a background check.

- Experience with cannabis processing or handling (a plus).
- Previous experience in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) environment.
