Skilled Paint Booth Sprayer

Assist in producing a variety of joinery items for residential and commercial sector.

• Clean and prepare surfaces by sanding, filling, and priming as needed.
• Mask off areas that should not be painted to ensure precise application.
• Select appropriate paints, coatings, or finishes based on job requirements.
• Apply paint or coatings evenly and consistently using various tools (brushes, rollers, spray guns).
• Ensure proper coverage and finish quality, making any necessary adjustments.
• Operate and maintain spray painting equipment, including spray guns and booths.
• Adjust spray equipment settings for different and applications.
• Inspect finished doors for flaws, such as drips, streaks, or uneven coating.
• Make touch-ups or corrections as needed to meet quality standards.
• Verify that colours and finishes match specifications.
• Maintain and clean painting equipment regularly to ensure functionality.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or repair needs promptly.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when handling paints, solvents, and other chemicals.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Keep work area clean and organised.
• Complete production reports and documentation accurately.

• Carpentry: 3 years (preferred).
• Previous experience with air-assisted airless gun advantageous; all training provided.
• Knowledge of wood products helpful but not essential.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently or as part of a team.

Salary: Competitive rates of pay negotiable on experience
