Position Summary
Nestlé Purina operates a pet‑food manufacturing facility in Denver, Colorado that has been a leader in the industry for over 120 years. We are seeking a Production Operator to join our safety‑first culture, support our zero‑defect and zero‑waste goals, and help maintain the high quality of our products.
Responsibilities- Train on specific production equipment/machinery in a safe and productive manner.
- Provide support to operators in Unloading, Processing, and Packing.
- Run unloading, processing, and packing equipment, and serve as backups to operator positions in various departments.
- Troubleshoot and complete preventative maintenance, clean, and inspect equipment per the maintenance checklist.
- Effectively collaborate with inter‑departmental personnel to maintain a smooth flow of safety, quality, and production information throughout the plant.
- Operate a forklift as needed.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1+ years of experience operating and troubleshooting machinery/equipment in a manufacturing, production, agricultural, military, or related environment.
- Position requires the ability to work the 3rd shift.
The approximate hourly pay for this position is $29.53. Final compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, and geographic location.
