Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Operations Engineer
Responsibilities
- Provide direction to optimize productivity
- Monitor downtime and production line efficiency
- Lead and train staff in safe work practices and standard procedures
- Manage labor costs, overtime, and parts purchasing
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
- Own predictive and preventive maintenance programs (PM/PdM)
- Supervise up to 10 hourly staff including electricians
- Conduct performance evaluations and manage employee relations
- Maintain equipment within budget constraints
- Promote continuous improvement and team collaboration
- Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years of maintenance experience preferred
- Strong understanding of preventative maintenance programs, CMMS systems, electrical/mechanical systems
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and Power Point
- Ability to read blueprints/schematics and write reports
- Proficient in basic math, problem-solving, and computer use
- Bachelor’s in mechanical/electrical engineering or related field
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, blueprints, schematics, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, as well as write routine reports and professional correspondence
- CAD/drafting experience a plus
- SAP CMMS experience
Pay Range: $59,000-$78,000
The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
