** Responsibilities
* ** Ensuring production equipment is set up and maintained to produce quality Ziegenfelder treats ready for delivery to customers.
* Preparing and configuring machinery for scheduled production runs.
* Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, electronics (PLC’s), and hydraulic systems and providing immediate corrective maintenance support to production lines, conveyor belts, and ancillary production equipment.
* Checking and maintaining proper fluid levels in various pieces of equipment.
* Performing overhauls of existing production equipment.
* Completing daily checks of the ammonia refrigeration, boiler, and air systems.
* Inspecting and repairing various facility items as directed by your manager.
* Installing new production equipment.
* Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
* Complying with OSHA Safety and Health rules.
* This position is responsible for the food safety of our products.
** Qualifications
* ** Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in industrial maintenance ideally in a food environment
* 5+ years of experience in a Maintenance Technician role, preferably in the food manufacturing environment or equivalent/relevant experience.
* 3-5 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment highly preferred or equivalent/relevant experience.
* 2+ years of experience as a machinist.
* Experience working with ammonia refrigeration is a plus.
* Ability to motivate in a fast-paced environment.
* Candidate must be flexible in working any shift available for this position.
** Physical Abilities
*** Standing up to 8 hours per day.
* Moving and lifting objects weighing up to 50 lbs. regularly.
* Bending, twisting, reaching and grasping actions.
* Good spatial awareness working around manufacturing equipment.
* Subject to cold temperatures of less than 32F for more than one hour with proper protection equipment.
* May be subject to noise above 85 decibels with proper protection equipment.

** Compensation*** $29.61 - $35.05 per hour, depending on experience.
