Overview
The Senior Director of New Store Openings and Transfers is responsible for setting and executing the strategic vision for successful, profitable new store openings across all Well Biz Brands business units. This role provides enterprise-wide leadership over end-to-end new store opening initiatives, including NSO marketing and presell program, staffing, NSO operations, service provider training and education, as well as directly impacting stores’ ability to quickly ramp and achieve profitability.
This leader plays a critical role in designing and scaling best-in-class, repeatable solutions while ensuring brand-specific customization where required. The position is focused on accelerating ramp-up timelines, driving early performance, and maximizing franchisee profitability. Success requires depth of experience driving presell campaigns and managing the NSO team, close cross-functional collaboration, and a deep understanding of operations, membership growth, and people strategies, all while aligning execution with Well Biz Brands’ core values and long-term growth objectives.

Remote (United States)
Compensation$ - $/annually. Offers to select candidates will be made on a fair and equitable basis, taking into account specific job-related skills and experience. Salary ranges reflect Colorado disclosure requirements. Compensation may vary by geographic location for candidates working outside Colorado. This position is eligible for an annual performance-based incentive bonus with a target opportunity of up to 20% of base salary, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

- Provide enterprise-wide oversight of all aspects of new studio openings, ensuring consistent, high-quality execution of operational readiness, training, and performance ramp-up within the first 90 and 180 days of operation.
- Set and drive the strategic direction for new store opening processes, partnering closely with franchisees, studio managers, and franchisee support teams to ensure alignment, accountability, and seamless execution across all phases of the opening lifecycle.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for onboarding franchisees following ownership transfers or studio sales, ensuring smooth operational transitions, continuity of brand standards, and minimal disruption to performance.
- Leverage data analytics and performance reporting to assess NSO effectiveness, identify trends and risks, and implement continuous improvements that enhance both opening execution and ongoing studio performance.
- Lead presale strategy and execution by managing the digital marketing vendor, designing compelling presale offers, and ensuring strong campaign performance that drives early membership acquisition and Day 1 revenue for franchisees.
- Direct and develop the NSO team while proactively managing franchisee sentiment by building trusted relationships, providing clear communication, and serving as a visible and credible leader representing the Support Center during the new store opening journey.
- Ensure all NSO-related initiatives, programs, and projects are delivered on time and within budget, with clear accountability to defined key performance indicators, business outcomes, and franchisee success metrics.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in multi-site consumer services (fitness, wellness, beauty, etc.)
- Experience managing teams of 5+ full-time employees
- Deep expertise designing, optimizing and delivering presell programs with strong Day 1 revenue and fast ramp to profitability
- Proven ability to lead teams across diverse functions, including talent acquisition, training, education, and revenue growth.
- Experience working with leadership teams, including C-suite, and managing complex, cross-functional projects.
