Sodexo is hiring our Environmental Services - Custodial Operations Manager Overnight 8:00pm – 4:30am at the University of Denver. Bilingual Spanish is a plus. A valid driver’s license and a clear background check are required.
What You’ll Do- Be a safety champion.
- Lead teams on all shifts, including the overnight shift.
- Provide training and conduct inspections, reporting on team success and challenges.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for clients, customers, visitors, and staff.
- Use chemicals and floor‑care equipment properly.
- Develop improvement plans for identified deficiencies.
- Respond immediately to client concerns.
- Be a hands‑on leader, managing by example.
- Provide leadership and support for all shifts.
- Be a critical thinker and adapt to a changing environment.
- Order and maintain proper levels of supply and equipment; manage departmental fiscal responsibility.
- Effectively manage Sodexo’s SMS system and other operating systems, building‑supply and inventory systems, and track consumables.
- Work independently to drive program compliance for the custodial department and motivate a diverse staff through shift supervisors.

- Ability to work the overnight shift (8:00pm – 4:30am).
- Solid leadership skills to develop and motivate a team to exceed client and customer expectations and execute a housekeeping system.
- Strong computer skills and experience with web‑based tools; proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other technology.
- At least two years of custodial or housekeeping supervisory and management experience (preferred).
- Ability to analyze data and communicate effectively at all levels within the organization.
- Experience managing projects within agreed timelines.
- Demonstrated innovation and solution‑oriented mindset.
- Team‑building and employee engagement skills.
- Strong quality assurance skills and attention to detail.
