The Delivery Supervisor is responsible for leading a team to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of product to retailers within an assigned territory in the Denver Front Range area. This position reports to the Delivery Manager.
What You’ll Deliver- Performance & Talent Management (50%)
- Direct and oversee delivery driver team working on various routes throughout territory in a safe and efficient manner.
- Responsible for all people‑management related processes, including staffing, performance management and discipline, time system management, communications/team meetings, etc. for the assigned team.
- Conduct and/or ensure the Driver Lead gives feedback to the Trainee.
- Ride with and evaluate trainees. Make the decision to approve training or assign additional training based on Trainee performance against standards.
- Hold monthly team meetings and monthly 1‑on‑1s around goals and current performance.
- Communicate changes to company policies and procedures as well as all DOT regulations.
- Document coaching conversations, performance or behavioral issues, attendance concerns, etc. after verbally communicating with employees.
- Have knowledge of and apply all CDC policies consistently across the team.
- Provide feedback and coaching to individuals on career paths, opportunities within the company and how they can continue to build capability and skills to achieve their personal goals.
- Compliance & Safety Leadership (20%)
- Lead safe behaviors by setting an example, sharing “all injuries are preventable” philosophies, and identifying risky behaviors while performing work‑withs with individuals on the team. Address unsafe behaviors and utilize performance‑management tools to coach, correct, and manage.
- Address patterns, trends and multiple occurrences through use of corrective action process.
- Identify process improvements to ensure the safety of our drivers while managing a budget.
- Investigate incidents and complete Management Safety Analysis in a timely fashion.
- Relationship Management (20%)
- Act as liaison between Drivers, Sales Reps, and Retailers.
- Assist with escalated issues between Drivers and Retailers.
- Quality Assurance (10%)
- Maintain quality control processes within the team through scheduled or random audits.
- Be consistent in holding individuals accountable for performance concerns with non‑rotated beer, old beer and/or breakage.
- Communicate expectations and provide coaching when issues arise and additional training is required.

- Must be physically capable of handling and delivering on average between 500 and 1,000 30‑lb. cases each day and be capable of lifting up to 165 lbs. throughout the day.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, transportation, business or related field is preferred.
