As Head of Strategic Planning (Chief of Staff), you will take on a pivotal leadership role at the heart of our Worldpay for Platforms business. This position is focused on driving strategic alignment, operational excellence, and cross‑functional execution for one of the fastest‑growing segments in embedded payments and finance. Your mission: translate executive vision into actionable plans, orchestrate operating rhythms, and ensure the organization delivers on ambitious growth objectives.
Success in this role requires not only exceptional strategic acumen but also operational discipline and influence across a matrixed environment. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, shaping priorities, driving accountability, and fostering a culture of transparency and performance.
About the roleWe are seeking a strategic and operational leader to serve as the integrator at the heart of our Worldpay for Platforms business. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our embedded payments and finance ecosystem, driving alignment between vision, strategy, and execution across a global, high‑growth organization.
What you will be doing- Lead strategic planning
:
Drive annual and quarterly planning cycles, linking priorities to financial goals and KPIs. - Own operating rhythms
:
Manage QBRs, monthly performance reviews, and goal‑setting processes to keep the organization aligned. - Drive cross‑functional execution
:
Ensure coordination across GM’s, GTM, Product, Finance, HR, Legal, and other teams. - Manage performance
:
Establish reporting frameworks, track progress, and surface insights to inform executive decisions. - Lead a program management team
:
Recruit, mentor, and develop talent to support integrated planning and execution. - Support executive decision‑making
:
Provide analysis, scenario modeling, and business cases for strategic initiatives. - Prepare executive communications
:
Deliver strategic updates, performance summaries, and initiative progress for senior leadership.
- 10–15 years in management consulting, corporate strategy, business operations, or FP&A within a global or multi‑unit enterprise.
- Proven success leading strategic planning and performance management processes.
- Strong analytical and financial skills; ability to link strategy to metrics.
- Exceptional executive communication and presentation abilities.
- Demonstrated experience influencing and aligning cross‑functional leaders.
- Experience leading and developing high‑performing teams.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA strongly preferred.

This range reflects what we reasonably expect to offer based on the role’s responsibilities, level, and geographic location. The actual starting salary will be determined by a candidate’s experience, job‑related skills, and relevant education or training.
Please note that changes in work location may impact the final offered salary. This position is eligible for bonus.
