Initial training required onsite for the first 2 weeks, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

The Data Center M&E Technician (Night Shift) utilizes advanced mechanical and electrical skills to perform preventative maintenance, corrective repairs, inspections, and vendor oversight within a mission-critical data center environment. This role supports continuous operations of electrical and mechanical infrastructure systems
, ensuring reliability, safety, and compliance during overnight operations.
- Perform nightly rounds and readings inspections of all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems
- Execute preventative maintenance and corrective repair activities
- Manage and complete CMMS work orders
- Escort and oversee third-party vendors
, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards - Support operation and maintenance of UPS systems, generators, chillers, HVAC, electrical distribution, and BMS systems
- Ensure compliance with EHS policies
, PPE requirements, and all regulatory and quality standards - Assist with development of Job Hazard Analyses (JHA), SOPs, and risk assessments
- Maintain accurate documentation, logbooks, and CERM records
- Complete all required training to ensure safe and effective job performance
- 4–5 years of prior data center experience
, specifically in Mechanical/Electrical Operations - Completed Trade School Program
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a critical-environment setting
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Certified Electrician or HVAC Technician
- Multi-skilled experience across Electrical and HVAC systems
- Ability to share knowledge and support fellow technicians
- Fully onsite, overnight data center environment
- CBRE Safety-specific background package required, including drug screening
- Strict adherence to EHS policies
