Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 6 AM - 3 PM
Pay: $20-22/hour
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of office areas, warehouse, restrooms, break rooms, and meeting rooms.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; dust and wipe down surfaces, including furniture, equipment, and windows.
- Dispose of waste and recycling materials in accordance with facility policies.
- Use approved cleaning agents and techniques to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, particularly in sensitive areas.
- Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and assist with ordering and restocking as necessary.
- Support the setup and breakdown of areas for meetings and training sessions.
- Respond to urgent cleaning requests and emergencies in a timely manner.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and report any malfunctions or needs for repair.
- Ensure that the grounds are well-kept by maintaining cleanliness around the perimeter of the facility.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in janitorial or custodial services, preferably in a pharmaceutical or regulated environment.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling techniques, especially in a manufacturing context.
- Attention to detail with a strong commitment to cleanliness and safety.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift and move objects as required.
- Some tasks may involve exposure to cleaning chemicals; appropriate personal protective equipment will be provided.
- May be required to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods, or performing repetitive movements.
