Job Description

• Monitors repair requests and assists as necessary.
• May perform minor mechanical, plumbing, janitorial, housekeeping and electrical tasks.
• Ensures grounds are kept clean, safe, and snow is removed promptly for parking and walkways.
• Maintains daily observation of building and grounds to ensure safety and proper operation of equipment.
• Assists with picking up parts and supplies for repairs, and with outside vendors.
• Collaborates with other facilities services personnel as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1‑year experience in building maintenance preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Valid Colorado State driver’s license in good standing.
• English reading, writing, speaking proficiency.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

• Strenuous physical activity: lifting over 100 pounds occasionally, up to 60 pounds frequently, up to 30 pounds constantly.
• Constant standing, walking, grasping; frequent climbing and reaching above shoulder heights; occasional sitting, stooping, bending, crawling, kneeling, squatting, fine motor control.
• Possible exposure to hazardous chemicals and high heat temperatures.
• Frequent interruptions; interaction with residents, family members, and visitors frequently.
