General Equipment Cleaner

POSITION SUMMARY

The General Equipment Cleaner will perform general custodial responsibilities for assigned equipment and facilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform basic maintenance cleaning such as sweeping and cleaning.
• Clean assigned equipment including vacuuming, wiping surfaces, glass, exterior panels, stainless steel and plastic bins.
• Complete all safety training as assigned by the Company.
• Participate in weekly safety/operational discussion meetings.
• Comply with all DSUS safety programs, policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties/assignments that may be required by management from time to time.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
• Ability to work a non-traditional schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Commitment to working safely while accomplishing all tasks and promoting a safe work environment at all times.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous work experience in an Airport environment.

Basic computer knowledge. Log in, retrieve and answer emails and take training.

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must obtain and maintain an Airport Security badge.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the Company’s insurance policy.
• Must comply with the company’s Drug and Alcohol policy.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Works in all areas located on Airport property. May be around dust, dirt, moving machinery, temperature changes, heights and noise levels below OSHA minimum requirements. Use of PPE is required.
