Job Description SummaryThe Maintenance Supervisor provides maintenance support and is accountable for delivering on our commitments to our residents. This includes quality move‑in, resident satisfaction, quality and timely service, and personal attention to our residents.
EssentialJob Duties
- Prepare market‑ready apartments, including painting, carpet cleaning/repair, general repairs, and housekeeping.
- Complete resident service requests in a timely manner.
- Apply knowledge of plumbing, pool maintenance, HVAC, general carpentry, appliances, electrical, painting, caulking, snow removal, scheduling, and life‑safety issues.
- Maintain grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas, and dog parks, keeping them clean and safe.
- Perform on‑call emergency procedures when required.
- Report maintenance issues that affect the budget, such as life safety, vacant repairs, property damages, and common‑area needs.
- Schedule and perform preventative maintenance and record activities.
- Stay knowledgeable of state, local, and federal housing laws, codes, policies, and systems regarding maintenance.
- Attend and participate in required training programs.
- Provide superior customer service and represent the company professionally.
- Work any shift Sunday‑Saturday support needs.
- Safe use of cleaning agents and equipment.
- Basic arithmetic including whole numbers, fractions, decimals.
- Compute rates, ratios, and percentages, prepare and interpret bar graphs.
- Valid driver’s license.
- EPA 608 Type II or CPO as required by city or state.
- Follow Cushman & Wakefield safety policies and procedures.
- High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school.
- 3+ years of related experience.
- EPA 608 – Minimum Type II, or CPO, or local city required certificate.
Professional office environment, use of computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, fax machines. Travel between properties in varying weather conditions.
Physical DemandsStand and walk for extended periods, walk/stairs/ladder steps, travel outside between buildings. May sit or stand 85% of time, lift/push/pull objects up to 100 pounds occasionally or frequently. Travel up to 10% of time.

Benefits and CompensationCompensation: $30.60 - $36.00 per hour (subject to factors such as location, experience, and bargaining agreements).
